Excellent piece, and very well written, but like many of the other Substacks I follow, I wish you focused more on how we need to win elections. Conferences like the one you mentioned are great, but power only comes through winning elections.
Tonight, there are several special elections across the country, a couple of them in red turf. We need the focus to always be on flipping districts blue as we wait for the midterms next year.
Yes, you are right about the vital importance of the recent and upcoming elections. I tend to just take that for granted but will try to be more explicit about that. And, being a DC resident, I do also have the opportunity to attend a lot of interesting. meetings and forums that can be enlightening and opportunities to get with lots of people from all over who are on the same team.
I have never been so ashamed of a President as I am with the way Trump spoke to President Zelensky.
