My main point is that Biden’s terrible performance standing next to Trump is stark, even horrifying evidence that Biden has no hidden superpower that’s going to ensure that he wins out over Trump. Seeing this so starkly represented in that debate excites me because I think there’s a lot of complacency and confusion among some of our most important voters about the stakes in this race.
Exciting is the possibility that the firestorm of concern about Biden will also help many millions of people realize that safeguarding our future is not one man’s or one party’s job. It falls to all of us. And that amongst all of us, there is a lot of untapped resources and power that needs to be activated to make a difference.
